1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Don'tEatMyDog mobile application or website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Mooshi App Inc.

2. Description of Service

Don'tEatMyDog is a community-driven platform that allows users to report and view wildlife sightings, environmental hazards, and lost or stray pets on an interactive map. The Service includes a mobile app (iOS) and a web-based map at donteatmydog.com/app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit a report, you are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content, including any photos. By submitting content, you grant Mooshi App Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content through the Service for the duration of the report’s active period.

You agree not to submit content that is:

• False, misleading, or intended to cause unnecessary alarm
• Obscene, offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
• An infringement of any third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights
• Spam, advertising, or promotional material

5. Community Guidelines

The Service relies on accurate, good-faith reports from community members. You agree to:

• Only report genuine sightings, hazards, or lost/stray pets
• Provide accurate location information
• Use the flagging system responsibly to report inappropriate content
• Not abuse the reporting system or attempt to disrupt the Service

6. Moderation and Enforcement

Mooshi App Inc. reserves the right to remove any content and block any device from submitting reports at its sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to violations of these Terms.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Reports are automatically deleted when they expire — within 7 days for standalone reports, or 7 days after the last related sighting at the same location for grouped reports. No account or sign-in is required to use the Service.

8. Push Notifications

The Service may send push notifications to alert you about nearby sightings and report expirations. You can enable or disable these at any time through the app or your device settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Mooshi App Inc. does not guarantee that:

• Reports submitted by users are accurate, complete, or reliable
• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The map data or location information is precise

The Service is not a substitute for professional wildlife management, animal control, or emergency services. In an emergency, contact your local authorities.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mooshi App Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on any information provided through the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and code, is the property of Mooshi App Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

12. Changes to These Terms

Mooshi App Inc. may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
